Object Side telecentric lenses (otherwise known as Single sided telecentric lenses) provide low optical distortion and a high degree of telecentricity for accurate image reproduction, particularly when viewing three-dimensional objects.
Formats available: 1/2", 2/3", 1" and 4/3"

This range of lenses cover a field of view from 4.4 mm to 172.5 mm field of view. Object side telecentric lenses have fewer elements than bilateral telecentric and as such are cheaper.

For most machine vision applications, an object side telecentric lens is all that is needed but a few precise inspection applications a bilateral (otherwise know as doubly or afocal) lens may be required because of the camera and sensor mounting.
