VM7x Video Microscope

Available with LED Co-axial lighting or LED Ring Light the VM7x Video Microscope is a quality system for live inspection and includes a 2 MPixel HDMI colour camera with image and video capture onto 8GByte SD card (no computer is required). The construction gives a positive solid feel with smooth focus control. There is ample working distance and the VM7x Video Microscope will sit well in a production environment where a plan view is required. The zoom control is manual and the image stays in focus (parfocal zoom).

With LED Ring Light : For SMT, small components, wiring looms, connectors etc. The LED ring light gives even white illumination and includes dimmer control. The field of view ranges from circa 19.5 x 11 mm at low magnification to 2.7 x 1.4 mm at high magnification with a constant 105 mm working distance.

NB. The fov when using the measuring camera is larger.

With LED co-axial lighting: For semi-conductor inspection the zoom system comes with a in-built LED light to illuminate the surface directly through the lens. Co-axial lighting is highly effective and recommended for imaging semi-conductors and reflective surfaces. The field of view ranges from circa 14.8 x 8 mm at low magnification to 2.2 x 1.3 mm at high magnification with a constant 100 mm working distance. An LED ring light can also be added for imaging 3 dimensional items.

Camera:  Camera resolution is 1920 x 1080. The HDMI colour camera gives live full resolution images at 60 fps. A simple on-screen menu is accessed with a wireless mouse (supplied). Functions include image flipping and rotation, HDR, Mono/Colour, image and video capture, image browsing, Picture in Picture, camera setting and line generation. An example of line generation is shown. A small or full length cross hair can be displayed and is useful for 2 dimensional metrology applications. Vertical and horizontal lines can be changed in colour , width and position.
