VGA Camera with image and video capture
A 2 MPixel VGA camera with image and video capture directly to SD Card. This camera gives high contrast images directly to any VGA monitor and offers a large number of extra features.
The VGA camera with image and video capture is suitable for applications involving microscopes and a large variety of lenses. There is no loss of clarity in the captured images and video. The operator can easily capture images or video for record keeping and reporting of defects.
Any monitor with a standard 15 pin D-sub connector can be used. Camera resolution settings are 1920 x 1080, 1280 x 1024, 1280 x 720 or 1024 x 768. There are several overlay options including parallel lines and a cross-hair which makes this system suitable to be used as a Toolmakers Microscope for 2 dimensional measuring (XY stage with digital micrometers required). Camera supplied with psu, SD Card, VGA cable and wireless mouse.
The 1/4" tripod mount is useful for mounting and can also be used with our boom stand + camera mount.
Three on-screen menus are accessed by wireless mouse.
Main menu controls: digital magnification (up to x10), mirror, flip, freeze, monochrome, HDR (High Dynamic Range), picture in picture (image comparison), image capture, video capture, browse captured images and videos and lastly a format SD card function.
Camera settings enables adjustment of Auto Exposure, exposure time, white balance, flicker (50 hz or 60 Hz), contrast, saturation, brightness, sharpness, denoise, red & blue levels and lastly the choice of resolution to suit the monitor.
Line controls enables the operator to move multiple horizontal and vertical lines, change line width, change line colour, turn lines off, reset lines to default, enable small crosshair or large crosshair and thus their width and colour.
